Almonte selected as NJCAA All-American

Brianna Almonte of the Volleyball team was selected as a 2nd team NJCAA All-American for the 2021 season by the DIII NJCAA Volleyball Committee. Brianna is the 2nd ever volleyball player in Rockland Community College history to earn this prestigious achievement since Jamie Rosario in 1998. Brianna ranked 7th in the nation in kills per set, 11th in kills and 14th in service aces. The award caps off a historic season for Brianna after already earning Mid-Hudson Conference Most Valuable Player and Region XV Player of the Year awards. Congratulations.
