Volleyball Players Earn Conference and Region Accolades
Rockland standout volleyball players Brianna Almonte and Gabrielle Faulcon have both earned Mid-Hudson Conference and Region XV awards for their amazing play this season. Brianna Almonte (Paramus Catholic High School) earned the most prestigious awards of any player throughout the region by securing "Player of the Year" and "Most Valuable Player" in the region and conference, respectively. Playing the position as an outside hitter, Brianna accumulated 162 kills, 39 service aces, 86 digs and 31 blocks in the regular season. Gabrielle Faulcon (Nanuet High School), also an outside hitter, earned a place on the 1st Team All Conference and 2nd Team All-Region squads. Gabrielle had an outstanding regular season which included; 151 kills, 29 service aces, 128 digs and 19 blocks. Congratulations to these Lady Hawks!
