Here is a recap on the Hawks opening Region XV series against Dutchess Community College.

The Hawks went on to sweep the Falcons scoring 53 runs (16,17,11,9) while batting as a team .348 with 3 home runs (Sidoti, Mock, Varano) in the four game series.

Jaison Mock exploded in the series with batting .563 (9-16), 7 runs, 11 RBIs, 1 HR, 4 SB

Nick Varano pulled double duty in the series. He pitched 5 innings of 1 run ball in the last game of the sereis, and batting 3-15 with 5 RBIs and a home run.
